</script></div><p>I had coffee for breakfast.  There is NO getting around this, because food doesn&#8217;t sound good in the mornings!  Then for lunch, I have a turkey sandwich that consists of:  texas toast bread, lettace, mayo, cheese and two strips of facon (fake bacon).  Most of the time, I eat carrots with my sandwich.  After work, I go run for 45 minutes and lift on a couple machines every day.  Then for dinner my boyfriend cooks a meal.  How healthy is my diet?<br />
<br />There&#8217;s really no way to answer how healthy your diet is, because dietary needs vary from person to person. Generally the best way to have a healthy diet is to eat a wide range of foods, in moderation. That way you can be sure that you&#8217;re not missing out on any key vitamins and nutrients. </p>
<p>Women (especially teenage girls following crazy diets without thinking about their health) commonly suffer from a lack of iron and from a lack of calcium. Are you getting your dairy products? If you don&#8217;t like red meat, are you making sure you get your iron somewhere else? (Supposedly, venison is very nutritious red meat with very low fat, but I can&#8217;t bring myself to eat deer.) </p>
<p>Counting calories does not make a diet healthy. A glass of milk may have more calories than a glass of diet soda, but hopefully you can also tell which one of those is more nutritious!</p>

<br />It&#8217;s not about the food.<br />
Every obese person knows that they eat too much.  So lecturing them about what, and how much to eat are a waste of time. They have heard it all before&#8230;and they either can&#8217;t help themselves, or don&#8217;t care.<br />
There is a pyschological component that needs to be dealt with first, and that&#8217;s not a job for nutrionists.  You need to swim upstream, to where the problem starts, and not just wait to deal with the symptoms.  In my experience, invariably there is some history of personal trauma, crisis, OCD, or self-esteem issues affecting the persons behavior much more than a simple lack of knowledge about the dangers of overeating.<br />
In rare cases, dealing with the calories and exercise issues may help a patient.  You can find those people pretty quickly, and succesfully help them.  For everyone else, a more effective approach has to involve a team of medical professionals, each dealing with a specific causal component.

<p>i think one thing that affects us all is when people don&#8217;t wash their hands after using the bathroom.  fellas:  you know exactly what i&#8217;m talking about.  just because you&#8217;re holding, not wiping&#8230;  does NOT make it okay to simply leave the bathroom after you&#8217;re done.  i don&#8217;t want to go to the kitchen &amp; open the refrigerator door, knowing that you were there moments before, and you never washed your hands.  that&#8217;s too much contact with certain areas of the body that i definitely don&#8217;t want to come in contact with!</p>

</script></div><p>I&#8217;ve been taking trimspa for the past few months and lost weight (of course with a change in diet and excercise too).  I&#8217;m afraid that if I stop taking trimspa my metabolism will be too slow to maintain my current weight.  If I keep eating healthy and excercising daily, will I gain the weight back?<br />
<br />Don&#8217;t be afraid.  Just weight yourself daily and keep a record of calories that you have eaten.  If you see the scale rise 2 pounds over your begin weight then lesson your calorie intake.  According to reports, people that take diet assistance pills do put the weight back on only because the medication helped depressed their appetite and without the medication, you may find it difficult at first or find yourself always hungry.   Your knowledge of this is what will make you a success story, knowing this, take the necessary steps to fill your day or a list of &quot;To Do&quot; items to help distract yourself when cravings arise. </p>
