Do people eat as healthy of diets as their dogs do?

For example, if their dogs have to have the best of the best, no ‘junk’ as a certain group puts it, are they themselves eating super healthy and not ever allowing their kids to eat candy, fries, etc?
Then why is it people like me get "jumped on", told I feed my dog crap, and here these people put crap in themselves?

LOL! Not me! My dogs might have raw ground whole grass-fed goat with a bit of carefully chosen and prepared mostly organic veggies and fruits and some supplements, while I have a frozen dinner of some sort or a couple of slices of pizza that I bought on my way home. I smoke (but not inside or in the car… not where the dogs will be subject to it!), I am overweight, out of shape and the most exercise I get is playing with and training dogs (who are well-exercised and fit and certainly not overweight).

I am more than willing to admit that this makes no sense, and is really stupid. I am not ignorant of what constitutes a healthy human lifestyle. My own behavior in this respect puzzles me, but I seem unmotivated to change it.

I do start my day with a protein drink and a handful of supplements… probably the only reason I am still alive!

In making choices for myself, I exercise free will. Proper care of my animals is an obligation I have taken upon myself by owning them.

I don’t, my dogs eat much better than I do. They get high quality food and treats and I eat mostly fast food and microwave dinners.

I cant say… for the most part my dog eats what we eat. I know he may die early but he will live a happy life… and he is healthy he is not over weight.

at least our dogs eats healthy food, as to both the owner and the dog eat unhealthy.

Owner not eating healthy is not a excuse of feeding their pets unhealthy.

My dog only eats one type of food every single day- I don’t want that food to be comparable to a human eating McDonald’s every single day (I believe most of us have seen "Super Size Me" by now). I consider the treats she gets to be the "candy" of her diet so to speak, and like junk food we feed ourselves or our human children (which I personally do not have for the record) it should be limited.
Personally I cheat occasionally (We all have that little treat we’re not suppose to from time to time)- But seeing as I care about my weight, and considering I’m hypoglycemic I too have to make sure I get a healthy diet.
I’ve researched healthy dog diets, healthy ferret diets, and healthy human diets- All 3 are put to use in my household.
I would not eat ice cream, candy, and fast food every single day- Why should my dog (or ferret for that matter even)?
