What are some good exercises to do and some healthy diets I could do to get into shape in a month?

So I have about a month to get into shape and loose a few extra pounds and was wondering what are some good exercises. I also need some strength training for my arms. I also don’t have a gym mebership so exercises I can do at home are perfect thanks.
I don’t want websites to diet pills or whatever

Running is a great exercise as it helps you lose weight, improve fitness and tone your muscles. if you have a skipping rope, you can use this too, as this is also a good form of exercise. You can also do sit-ups, push ups and lunges and you can try a DVD workout video too as this will give you an aerobic workout and you can do it at home.
