Kids are smarter than you give them credit, they’re smart enough to know when healthy food tastes like garbage. You can’t advertise that healthy food “tastes so good,” they can see through that.
You CAN advertise that the health benefits are worth more than the tastes, but the cookie monster fails to do that to a convincing degree in this video.

Secondly, this was filmed in 1987, so Jim Henson was still alive at that time. Thirdly, Cookie Monster still eats cookies, and healthy food, too, I’m sure. There’s a Season 40 episode called “The Cookie Tree”, and it has cookies in it.
